New system up and running

As some of you know, I have been building a new computer system. It is a system built around the operating system Windows 7 64bit Home Premium.  It runs on an AMD Phenom II x6 processor and has 8GB of memory, which will be upgraded to 16Gb when the price of memory comes down again. This is the first build in about 4 years and things have certainly changed in that time. The motherboard can accommodate 8 sata disc drives so that is how many there are in this system. Rather than have split partitions on drives we decided to have each disc dedicated a particular purpose. We  also decided to get a newer router to the latest spec 802.11n but this one has a usb port so we added an external drive to it and we now have a NAS drive which we can access from anywhere on the internet without the system being up and running. Of course it had to be a Buffalo so we could hook up our Nintendo devices via a secure system called AOSS.  In case you missed the pictures I posted on Facebook I reproduce them here.
